Overview of “La Généalogie” (Keizu Keifugaku Ronkyuu)

Mission Statement

  1. To provide a venue for publishing research in genealogy as an interdisciplinary field, transcending the boundaries between the humanities and sciences.
  2.

  3. To pursue visibility and clarity through horizontal text, Arabic numerals, detailed sectioning, endnotes, full color, and the extensive use of diagrams, tables, and frames, rather than the traditional layout specialized for Japanese history research, which can be vague and difficult to read.
  4.

  5. To encourage submissions and research by graduate students and improve the searchability of research achievements.
  6.

  7. To facilitate and promote verification and counter-arguments by third parties through the detailed specification of sources.
